Today, I had the privilege to work with Chief Martin of Restaurant Martin in Santa Fe NM alongside my mom, coworkers and some members of the Police Department to prepare, cook and serve a meal consisting of an hors d’oeuvres, vegetarian entrée, meat entrée and dessert. We also won first place for the best hors d’oeuvres! Here is a photo of our menu:

This was our award-winning hors d’oeuvres, a cured salmon on a freshly baked bagel chip with capers cream.
Our vegetarian entrée, black bean corn salad over butter lettuce with lime dressing.
Our entrée, grilled flank steak with natural jus and plum tomatoes.
And lastly, our dessert, a delicious flourless chocolate cake with caramel sauce and cinnamon pecans.
